Born in Moncada (Valencia), she studied at the Valencia Higher Music Conservatory with Professor Francisco Salanova, where she was awarded the Final Degree Honour Prize and the ‘Mercedes Massi’ Prize for the best academic record.
Between 1993 and 1995, she furthered her oboe studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Professor Emanuel Abbühl, where she obtained the higher diploma in solo performance.
She was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (J.O.N.D.E.) from 1992 to 1996, performing as a soloist at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid.
She has attended masterclasses with professors Stefan Schilli, Salvador Mir, Eduardo Martínez, François Leleux and Maurice Bourgue, with whom she has studied continuously since 2006.
In the field of chamber music,she was selected to represent Spain at the European Broadcasting Union Meeting in 1994 . That same year, she won First Prize at the Montserrat Alavedra International Chamber Music Competition (Terrassa) as a member of the Haizea Wind Quintet.
As a teacher, she has given masterclasses at the conservatoires of Manresa, Tarragona, Moncada and Reus, as well as to various youth orchestras in Murcia, Tarragona and Cantabria, and to the Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya (JONC) and the J.O.N.D.E.
Since 1997 she has been assistant principal oboe of the Orchestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC), and since 2001 she has been a professor of oboe and chamber music at the Superior School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC).
